These terms govern your use of the Norway By website and mobile application, provided by Nordic Technology Outdoor. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. About the service
Norway By provides travel inspiration, route information, planning tools, and listings for accommodation, food, services, and relevant shops. Content is provided for general information and trip-planning purposes.
2. Your responsibility outdoors
Weather, terrain, access, transport, opening hours, avalanche conditions, and route difficulty can change quickly. You remain responsible for checking current official information, choosing activities suitable for your ability, carrying appropriate equipment, and following local rules and safety advice. Norway By is not an emergency, rescue, navigation, or professional safety service.
3. Accuracy and third-party services
We work to keep information useful and current, but do not guarantee that every route, listing, price, timetable, availability, or description is complete or error-free. References or links to third-party businesses do not constitute a guarantee or endorsement. Any booking, purchase, or agreement with a third party is between you and that provider.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the service for lawful, personal travel planning. You must not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, copy or scrape substantial parts of it, or use its content commercially without written permission.
5. Intellectual property
The Norway By name, product design, original text, selection, structure, graphics, software, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Nordic Technology Outdoor and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names, maps, photographs, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. No rights are transferred to you except the limited right to use the service under these terms.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features and may revise these terms when reasonably necessary. The current version and its effective date will be published here. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Nordic Technology Outdoor is not liable for indirect loss arising from reliance on travel content, third-party services, changing outdoor conditions, or temporary unavailability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded under Norwegian or applicable consumer law.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute should first be raised with Nordic Technology Outdoor in good faith. Mandatory consumer rights and jurisdiction rules continue to apply.
